Jaz Pyramids Resort 4★
Four-star resort in the Pyramids district, built around pools — the easier option with children.
Egypt for families with children old enough to remember it — nine days paced for real attention spans, with the wonders kids actually get excited about kept in the front row.
Nine days shaped around children who are old enough to remember it: four nights in Cairo and Giza, a four-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan with a pool deck, and the Valley of the Kings before the heat. Connecting cabins, a gentler daily pace, and a guide who talks to the children rather than over them. From $2,100 per person.
Family travel in Egypt is different from adult travel in Egypt — the pacing, the food, the site choices, and the pauses all matter more. Here's what this specific route gets right.
Scroll the days or press play — the marker flies south, sails north on the Nile and flies back to Cairo as you go.
Same itinerary, same guide, same flights — two levels of hotels and ship. Pick one and the prices and hotels below update.

From about six or seven. Younger than that and the temples become a carrying exercise; older than about fourteen and you may prefer the standard itinerary at a faster pace. The pool deck and the Esna lock are what children remember, not the tombs.
On most ships, yes, and we ask for them at the time of booking. Where a ship has none we book adjacent cabins on the same deck. Infants under five usually travel free sharing with two adults.
Yes on every ship in this package, alongside the buffet. Tell us about allergies or dietary needs when you book and they are briefed to the kitchen in writing.
Less than the standard itinerary. One headline site per morning, back on board or at the hotel for the middle of the day, and an afternoon that can be skipped on the spot. The Valley of the Kings is the longest walk of the trip.
The Cairo–Luxor–Aswan corridor is Egypt's most established tourist route and you are with a private guide and driver throughout. The real risks are heat and stomach upsets, which is why the pace and the bottled water are built in.
A 20% deposit confirms your booking, paid by secure card link or bank transfer, and the balance is due 30 days before arrival. Cancellation is free up to 45 days before arrival (60 days for Christmas, New Year and Easter dates); after that the charges in our Cancellation Policy apply. Domestic flight tickets already issued are refunded minus the airline’s fees.
