12 Days Egypt & Red Sea Honeymoon FAQ
Do you do anything special for a honeymoon?
Yes, and it costs nothing extra — tell us when you book. The ship arranges the cabin, and we ask the hotels for the same. It has to be booked in advance; nothing can be arranged at the gangway.
Why the Red Sea at the end rather than the start?
Because a honeymoon should not finish with a 04:00 temple call. The temples are front-loaded while you have energy, and the last three days are a beach, which is also the easiest place to be jet-lagged.
Which cabin should we book?
A balcony suite. On a three-night cruise you spend little time in the cabin, but a honeymoon is the one trip where the private balcony at sunset earns the upgrade.
When is the best time to go?
October to April for comfortable temperatures on both the Nile and the Red Sea. February, March and November are the best balance of weather, crowds and price. July and August are 35–42°C in Upper Egypt.
What's the deposit and cancellation policy?
A 20% deposit confirms your booking, paid by secure card link or bank transfer, and the balance is due 30 days before arrival. Cancellation is free up to 45 days before arrival (60 days for Christmas, New Year and Easter dates); after that the charges in our Cancellation Policy apply. Domestic flight tickets already issued are refunded minus the airline’s fees.
How much should I tip?
Budget about $8–10 per person per day covering the guide, the driver and the cruise crew. We give you a simple envelope guide so nothing feels awkward.
