10 Days Egypt Highlights FAQ
Why ten days rather than seven?
Seven days covers Cairo and one other city. Ten fits Cairo, the full four-night cruise and two nights in Luxor, which is what lets you see both banks properly instead of choosing between them.
Which day of the week does the trip start?
Each ship leaves Aswan on set weekdays, so we set your Cairo arrival four days before the sailing that suits your dates. If your flights land on another day we match a ship sailing then — same route, same level. Tell us the flights first and we build around them.
Is Abu Simbel included?
No — it is a full-day add-on from Aswan at $180 per person by road, and worth it. If your dates allow, we schedule it on the morning before you board rather than squeezing it into the cruise.
Do I need a visa?
Most nationalities get a visa on arrival for $30 or an e-visa in advance. Passport valid six months with a blank page. We confirm your case in the quote.
What's the deposit and cancellation policy?
A 20% deposit confirms your booking, paid by secure card link or bank transfer, and the balance is due 30 days before arrival. Cancellation is free up to 45 days before arrival (60 days for Christmas, New Year and Easter dates); after that the charges in our Cancellation Policy apply. Domestic flight tickets already issued are refunded minus the airline’s fees.
How much should I tip?
Budget about $8–10 per person per day covering the guide, the driver and the cruise crew. We give you a simple envelope guide so nothing feels awkward.
